Your review of the publication:
The book is the story of Ana who was born in Galilee at a time when women were seen as possessions. The story is from the perspective of a young woman with abilities, wanting to control her own destiny in ways that were not available to women at the time. The simple ability to read, opened up so many more opportunities for Ana as a young woman in a very culturally controlled world, giving her a platform to speak for the women silenced at the time. The journey for Ana brings joy and tragedy and reveals the power women have, to change the world.
